200g Kobe or Wagyu Beef (thinly sliced)

1/2 Large Onion (sliced)

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tbsp Sake or White Wine or Vodka

1 tbsp Mirin

1 tbsp Ginger Paste

1 tsp Sugar

1 tbsp Sesame Oil

1 tbsp White Sesame

Heat a pan over medium heat.

Add the beef and cook until it is golden browned.

Add the onion to the pan and continue cooking until it has softened.

Add the soy sauce, sake, mirin, ginger paste and sugar to the pan and mix well until it has thickened.

Sprinkle the dish with white sesame.
Serve with steamed rice and a side of thinly sliced cabbage.
